Los carritos son patéticos. Funcionan a 10 km por hora. Vas más rápido caminando. Los peores de la isla.
Carts are pathetic. They run at 10 km per hour. You go faster walking. The worst on the island.

Just let you guys know: this store is No.4 listed on ferry stuff’s booking paper. Stuffs will try to sell it on ferry. Don’t book your golf cart from this store because of the higher price and worse service. Book your cart on island. People from this store won’t explain anything on contract but ask you to sign it. Golf cart condition is bad also. Avoid this vendor.

February 2022; This business was recommended on the ferry ride from Cancun. I asked about Pepe's and they said they weren't in business......that they had "Sold Out" and we should use Isla Golf Carts. Paid $50 for daily use of cart on the ferry. Said they were easy to find....right behind Sr. Frogs. They were easy to find. That's about all the positives. Their equipment is VERY QUESTIONABLE! Backfired all the time; steering was so loose had to turn steering wheel over a quarter turn just to get the wheels to move one direction or the other. Tires were almost bald on the inside part of the tire. Our impression is the entire island is a tourist trap ripoff; driving on the streets you take your life into your own hands; huge speed bumps everywhere will rattle your bones and ruin your back. Mopeds, taxis and golf carts clutter the street; Tshirt and trinket shops, bars and "tequila" stores everywhere. No maps of island available anywhere to use as a guide. All we saw were construction sites, vacant lots, debris and trash in the street; We have traveled to about every Caribbean island.....many multiple times. This was way worse than any of those. We were expecting a somewhat calm, layback, relaxing atmosphere. What we got was chaos! And it started with Isla Golf Carts. Wasted $100. $50 on ferry ride over/back; $50 on golf cart. Don't be a victim.
