★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best restaurant of our trip (and we are well all week!). Food was gorgeous, and incredibly tasty. (Get the umami roll, you’ll thank me). Service was spectacular, attentive without being invasive, and our waiter offered some good suggestions. Oh, and the cocktails!!! We are still talking about how good this place was. Don’t miss it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a nice dinner here with great service last night but got food poisoning. It could have been bad fish, salad greens washed with unfiltered water or the peppers they put on our table. I don't like to trash restaurants but they need this feedback.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved it. Waiters are trying their best, food was delicious - I had spicy tuna crispy rice and yellowtail rolls. My friend has tuna tar tar. Everything was just great! We recommend this place.

Our waiter and his helping staff were also extremely attentive and friendly.
Food was wonderful and priced reasonably for the area with portions that were fair.
My wife is vegetarian and she loved it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderul Japanese restaurant, beautifully designed and very cozy inside.
We got soft shell crab tacos (twice), duck baos, caramel sea bass, tamago nigiri and totoaba special with a pineapple cocktail, their delicious matcha layered cake for dessert.
Excellent service from Gustavo Garcia and
Aaron Martin which they can easily use their skills in any Michelin star restaurant. Thank you Gustavo and Aaron for your 5 star undivided attention to our table. You guys can really "read the table" by providing what we need before we ask them. Appreciate you guys making our dining experience in Kai memorable.
Kudos to the management, chef and staff of Kai!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was outstanding. The bartender and approach to customer service…not so much. We ordered a martini with a lemon twist. Not an unusual order. The drinks came with olives instead of a twist of lemon.. We reminded them of the original order so they took it back. But, all they did was to pull out the olives and replace with a lime (not lemon). You could taste the olives in the drink. Really? The bartender did not think that we could taste the difference? Eventually, we got a fresh drink, with lime (not twist of lemon as asked) and just moved on. High end restaurant. I would expect better from the bar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hight end Japanese restaurant.Many dishes besides of sushi.Nice decorated.When coming in look like small,but another bigger room on the left.Smoking is possible.
Shelf crab salat require som nuts or cranberries,but dressing is very originally.
Ramon soup has nice smoky flavour.
Alaska rolls and fish tempura impressed.
Very polite waiter’s.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let me start with the Decor you walk in and feel like your in wonderland .
The food was hands down the best food I’ve had in Mexico and maybe one of my top five restaurants ever .
But the real praises are not about food or decor they are about THE BEST WAITER I have ever had in my life . Not only was he friendly , and we had good banter . He knew exactly what to recommend weather that be a drink or food he hit the nail right on the head .
More so even once we ordered he took his time asked and made sure all of the food came out at its designated time . If you ever find yourself in KAI CANCUN. Do yourself a huge favor and ask for William
