Sadly would not recommend if ur taking ur family ... Our family is two adults and a 2 year old. -Check in-took forever 20 min or more ... they need a better system. -Drinks-nothing special that the other resorts can't offer -Food - only the breakfast buffet was worth it. Beef was nasty.... Sadly no real steak -The restaurant the grill- food came out burnt ....it took 1.5 hrs to feed us -Be aware if u need a child high chair it takes them around 10-15 min to find one -Front desk- not knowledgeable they just take ur money or they will lie to u. Our other family members had a noisy neighbor, the front desk told them that neighbor left ... it was a lie ... they had to move rooms at 10 pm at night ... (according to them they don't allow load music at night ... but they take for ever to solve the problem ) -Pool service -only 3 people to help around 30 or more people ... so it took several minutes to get drinks (this was during their low season) they will also bring food to you. -Room- the only thing new I think it was the tub. Bed was hard. Sofa was extremely old. - service at the restaurants were okay. -Desserts- nothing I was amazed -It gets an extra star due to the location. The beach was the only nice thing -It states that all inclusive u can also get room service but guess what is not they charge u a delivery fee ... of 100 pesos ... how is this all inclusive? FYI- Our child had an accident aka reflux on the bed and they charge u $70 for the damage. GYM - it was closed because that’s where they take people to get COVID tested …..why not somewhere else… We only stayed at this resort because our family members chose it ... go find another place... I guess it used to be a 4 star hotel.... Not anymore sadly. Not worth the all inclusive. I've stayed at barcelo and dreams ... are way better

the hotel was not accommodating at all. we had 4 problems in our room and they wouldn't lift a finger to help us even though we had to move rooms at 10pm at night. we worked until almost midnight. the next day I asked for a credit for the hassle and ruined night, they said no can do. I won't stay there again but I will visit the area because the ocean was gorgeous. to bad the hotel stinks.

Nice hotel... but the gem on this place is the beach. Located at the end of the beach just by the breakwall its perfect. White sand and clay warm blue water. It's ranked as the #1 beach in Mexico. You cand go wrong just co.e for a day pass and enjoy. 4 pools and good beach food and drink service. Best way to get some sun and sea.

The Altitude Tower at Krystal Grand was nice. I did the all inclusive package. The bartenders in the Altitude tower were great! There’s a small breakfast/lunch option in the tower lobby if you didn’t want to go to the buffet. Great beach location right next to the jetty which is a great spot for fishing and snorkeling! The resort itself is smaller so everything is close. There’s not many restaurant options. There is an adults only pool area.

Nice location. Right on the beach. Rooms are a bit dated. Had to call a couple times to get things fixed. Worst part is they try to hard sell time shares. Be careful staff is very misleading. Don't fall for the free breakfast that turns into 3 hour timeshare pitch. It's unbelievable.

I don’t think I have ever had a worse five star experience. The first room they put me in was dirty and the thin walls/windows let in a lot of noise from the traffic below. I upgraded to an ocean view room which was cleaner and nicer but was still an outdated space that I would expect from a two or three star hotel. Noise still came in, but at least it was from the beach and not the street. The food in the buffet made me ill each time I ate it, the Grill restaurant outside is much better. The staff are constantly trying to upsell you on spa treatments or water experiences, there’s not enough free lounge seating on the beach so you either have to pay or lay in the sand if you don’t get out early. The only positive about this place is the ocean view. It was beautiful. But there are other places nearby where you can get the same view.

Hotel staff were nice, but it's not such an accommodating hotel they don't try to please. Plus I paid extra for the "ocean view" and they gave me the other ocean view which was not of the Beach. Just the backyard of neighbor hotel and not as nice water. Technically its an ocean view but they could have clarified! Wouldn't repeat.

This was our second stop in Cancun and even though they're not associated with each other it was quite a step up from the Krystal Cancun. The only real complaint and that I have about this place was it wouldn't allow us to put a credit card so we could Bill things to our room. You weren't allowed to pay cash in any of their restaurants so you had to make sure you had a credit card with you if you didn't do the all-inclusive for dinner or breakfasts. The whole place is very pretty and I really dug the design of the interior which all the rooms look down into the lobby. Staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. The grounds we're really nice as well. They have an infinity pool in the back that looks out into the ocean and then a larger pool closer to the hotel. Only got into the infinity pool which was not heated which would have been nice. The beach though was pretty packed and not with Hotel guests. Don't know if there's a public access close but it was slammed! Walking distance to the downtown area which my wife and I did a few times. Only issue with that is because it is close you can still hear the Rave music pumping from Coco Bongo. It's not as pronounced as it was at the previous hotel we were at but you can hear it all day and night. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant which was very good and the staff was amazing. We had a pretty good today and if the price was right we might consider to come back here, but I probably would look for something a little farther away from the downtown area.
