All-inclusive hotel with high-end gourmet restaurants. The place provides a butler 24 hours to accommodate for your needs. Rooms include a bathtub and a pool and all decoration in the rooms is made by local artisans.

This is our 2nd visit to an Xcaret Hotel. We stayed at Arte for New Years and then stayed there again for 9 nights March 12-21. Following that, we stayed 4 nights at La Casa. It is a beautiful hotel with excellent service and great food. I debated giving it a 4 star review since there’s a few things they can improve on, but it felt like too low of a rating. I can’t do 4.5 so, I gave the 5. Here’s my snapshot of where I think their strengths and opportunities are. Strengths; -Butlers use WhatsApp and are quick to respond. -The rooms are so well appointed. Very comfortable beds, wonderful layout and lovely patio area. We spent quite a bit of time in the room! The booze and mixes provided in the room is perfect. -They are accommodating to food requests and scheduling reservations. -The after sun, sunscreen and soaps in the room were luxurious. -Lots of closet space and I like the cupboard they have to input the room service dishes. -The jellyfish in the room are super relaxing to watch at night. -Having access to Netflix, Disney+ and Prime is great way to unwind at the end of the day. -Service was exceptional. When my Husband forgot his goggles and they didn’t sell any at the shop, they offered a personal pair! Wow! -The personal transport and experiences at the park are amazing. It was hard for us to go away from the resort since we felt we wanted to enjoy every moment there. I highly recommend Xplor Fuego since it’s an evening park and you won’t be missing anything at the resort. There isn’t much night life there but that’s not a bad thing for us. -The chocolate room is amazing. -So many great places to just relax with wonderful views of the ocean. Where they can improve- -starting with this point since it’s not really one they can improve, but the beach is quite rocky and they only have a very small space they request you to swim in. There’s quite a bit of seaweed but they did have staff working all day removing it, so they do what’s in their control with this. If you want a beach vacation though you might want to reconsider this. … since there isn’t much for ocean swimming, you look to the pools. They only really have 2. Sure, with only 64 rooms, it’s probably all they need but it gets boring. Especially after being at Arte where you can river swim and they have so many pools to pick from. There aren’t many options to sit and we found the seats were often taken, even though it seemed the hotel was quite quiet. The main pool only had 6 spots for couples. They also allow smoking at the pool, which was quite gross. Other hotels have smoking sections and I would recommend they consider this. It sucked trying to chill out and read a book in a cloud of smoke. -Although the room service is 24/7, their options are limited compared to Arte. The food is better quality except for breakfast- no potato choices and the bread is rock hard/dry where Arte is fresh baked. -They didn’t have much for ice cream options, which is very different from Arte. That’s something I valued there. *pro tip- you can request to go to Arte and you’re welcome to eat there if you want to check it out -They do push membership on you a bit. Not too much but enough to be uncomfortable while it’s happening. Be prepared for 10x “Nos” -Last but not least (and an issue at all 3 hotels) is sound. Wow it’s bad. Bring ear plugs or noise cancelling head phones you’re comfortable sleeping with. I think with it being a mostly cement building, there’s not much they can do now but you can hear everything. Your neighbors walking and talking. We were on the 3rd floor of the fiesta building which is where the rooftop pool is and you can hear the bass pounding in your room. The big suite was above us and between the pool and our room, I can’t imagine how noisy it would have been there. Good luck having a siesta in fiesta. Overall, it was beautiful and we will definitely be back. I think we’ll do a split with Arte for best of both worlds.

Where do I even begin?! I have stayed at many high end resorts, incision Four Seasons', Waldorf Astorias, St. Regis and more. This resort is by far my favorite! The attention to detail, the elegance, the service, and more, exceeded every possible expectation we could have possibly had. Plus, you have unlimited access to the other two tesorts, Xcaret Mexico and Arte, which are stunning. The rooms at La Casa de la Playa are incredible, the views to die for, food is spectacular and the service impeccable. It's no wonder they so "Welcome home." Stay here, you will be thrilled you did.

My wife and I just got back from our 8 day vacation at Casa de la Playa and it was incredible! Gorgeous resort, mind-blowing rooms, wonderful service, amazing restaurants and more! Each and every day was better than the one before. We loved our 8 course meal at Estero, as well as the cuisine at Lumbre and Centli. Tuch de Luna was amazing as well. We had breakfast in our suite nearly every day, because the options are wonderful, and it gave us a good reason to spend more time in our incredible room. The shuttle service between the resorts is great and gives you an opportunity to enjoy Xcaret Arte and Mexico, and then retreat back to the solitude of Casa de la Playa. When staff at any of the resorts, or parks, see that you are a guest of the Casa de la Playa, they treat you like royalty. We loved our private guides at Xplor and Xplor Fuego, Martin and Estefin. Our butlers, Libertad and Erick did a great job, especially Libertad. Be sure to ask about what comes with your stay at Casa de la Playa, because it is amazing how many extras you get. Like, Backstage Tour of the show at Xcaret Park, Callejoneada (after hours musical tour with wine through Xcaret Park), access to all restaurants at the other 2 resorts, including Ha, Xaak and more. We loved our stay and the Xperiences we had will live on forever in our minds, hearts and souls.

The hotel & grounds: La casa de la playa is a stunning property. It’s modern yet has its traditional touches which makes the place unique & timeless. The pool layouts, the lobby, hallways, and gardening were breathtaking. Truly a an architectural masterpiece. The food & drinks: The hotel has top of the line food & drinks! We have traveled the world and ate at Michelin restaurants and the restaurants here have the same category as some of the best in the world. They have top chefs designing the menus. The rooms: The room was stunning with high ceilings, with a breathtaking view, super spacious, with the coolest bathrooms. Truly exceeded our expectations. The service: Staff is exceptional, we met and got to know a few of them and they were great fun! They did not miss a detail. We received an upgrade to the best suite as a courtesy because we were under the impression we booked a corner unit and none were available. Management assisted us with this professionally and efficiently. While all the staff was wonderful there were some superstars that stood out! Yeu from the lobby area was outstanding. She was so sweet and had such a great energy. We loved talking to her! Alejandro from the Mezcal bar was great! We arrived late night and he was happy to interact with us. He was very knowledgeable about mezcal and made the tasting so much fun! We were very impressed! We enjoyed talking to Ismael the lifeguard at the pool area. He always welcomed us with a smile and he even explained interesting things about the ocean and the area’s ecosystem. The main bartender from the main pool was exceptional, he made delicious drinks and was always in a great mood. We had many laughs with him, and enjoyed great food and drinks at the bar. I wish I could remember his name. He worked at the other Xcaret hotel before working at this hotel and had a lot of experience in bartending. The hotel is beautiful, we had so much fun yet relaxed whenever we wanted. What makes this place special is the people, we’re grateful to have met them. We’ll be back again soon! :) FYI: There’s a wine tasting at their wine cellar Cava with food pairing, make sure to book it right when you arrive since it’s a private reservation. We didn’t have time to do it but definitely will next time.

This hotel is beautiful it is a real shame that the service is this terrible. They say it is all inclusive but they charge so much extra for every little detail. Aside from their additional charge they are obnoxious. They give extreme attitude. They say you have a butler but whenever you request anything from water to towels to what should be expected from house evening- it takes hours upon hours to receive even the slightest item from them. Even then it only arrived with reminders. And then we mostly have to go to the front desk ourselves which defeats the purpose of service. We call the main concierge number and no one responds. The only positive part about our experience is the beach and the room. Otherwise it's a 2 star hotel in terms of service and amenities. Would not attend again especially as the cost of our room was double than what we paid originally since everything is an additional charge.

Wonderful Hotel with fantastic food. When I arrived, I had a very stressful check-in due to issues with booking.com. but Gabriella was extremely professional and made sure we were taken care of, as she dealt with everything. I can't understate how calm and courteous she was, she deserves a promotion! Omar, our waiter, at the restaurant Estero was amazing :) will definitely come back
