I’m very particular about my hair and who I allow to touch my crown, but Edgar has great energy, genuinely cares and his work never disappoints.

Edgar was great. He speaks excellent English, which isn't a requirement for me, but was nice and confidence-inspiring for a haircut. He gave me a truly top-notch fade and made sure my beard was lined up.
The shop itself is totally cool. Clean. Full of a good vibe and Latin hip hop. I'd definitely come back here and would DEFINITELY get a cut from Edgar again.

I love this barbershop because they always offer a refreshing beverage and the music is bumping too! If you’re a short haired Black woman in PDC who needs your hair cut, there’s no one better than Edgar at La Mala Fama!

I decided to get a hair cut here in Playa de Carmel before heading back to the states, their service was awesome could easily communicate even tho I don't speak Spanish, the prices are way cheaper than the states payed the same price as locals which is amazing that they didn't use that I'm a tourist here.
The barber was way more skilled than many I know.
All together made a perfect experience for me and for that I highly recommend
