Great place for the value! If you’re looking to spend your time in Tulum on a budget then this is a great place to stay. The room is simple and has air conditioning. You won’t be spending that much time in it anyways hopefully. My favorite part is that they just added electric scooters for rent and they are the most fun scooters/bikes in all of Tulum. Definitely check those out if you can. So much better than gas scooters or cars.

Stayed here and also had drinks as well as breakfast. The room with the outdoor shower and balcony was special, the nightclubs on Saturday were loud do take earplugs. Doors slam in other rooms frequently which is annoying, but the room makes up for it. The drinks were great (pricey, you’re in Tulum now though…), breakfast was poor and quite slow for a couple of smoothie bowls. Handy location in the town for ADO and having a look around. If you have big suitcases (like me…) you’ll likely need to carry them yourself up two flights so be aware. Would recommend for those that don’t mind late night music.

Really liked the vibe at this place. The guy at the front desk was helpful and polite. The rooms are nice and very clean. The location is excellent - right across from the bus stop and close to great restaurants. Good value. There was an issue with the shower the first day (quickly resolved) and unfortunately our laundry didn’t get done because of a mixup at the front desk, but the overall experience and excellent attitude of the staff more than made up for any issues.

Staying at the Tulumena was an amazing decision. The staff was super friendly and attentive, from the girls at the front desk, the cleaning ladies, and the waitstaff they were all amazing and I am so thankful for them.Anytime I had a question or a request the staff was there to support. The hotel itself is gorgeous, I love the gardens and the location is very convenient. The rooms were awesome and very clean. They have live music every evening but it stops around the time most people are going to sleep. I stayed for a week and every single day was pleasant. The hotel is overall peaceful and calm and I found myself very satisfied throughout the entire trip. I would highly recommend this hotel and i would gladly stay here again.

We visited the restaurant couple of times for breakfast, everything was delicious. Service was good and fast and helpful. The decoration is beautiful, they have a gift shop but things are quiet expensive. The terrace is really nice, with trees and Mexican decoration. We loved the margaritas, we tried many different in many places and the mezcal margarita here was the best !

We stayed 4 nights at « La Tulumeña » and really loved it ! The atmosphere was good, hotel is decorated with style, people were nice, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the outside shower was really enjoyable ! We really appreciated the great location in the middle of everything, easy to go in and out for breakfast or diner at night. We had a rental car and parked easily. Yes it can be a bit noisy at night with concerts in « La Tulumeña » and other places around, and even more during the weekend, but we love music and nice ambiance, so it didn’t bothered us at all ! But if you prefer quiet, maybe this is not a place for you. We didn’t try the restaurant, we only had few drinks one night, waiters were a bit slow but nice. We recommend this place.

Overpriced plain food. The atmosphere is nice. set in a jungle scene but the food is not worth the price. Better to go to a local street food place for taste and price. My Mollete was stale piece of bread with a micro thin spread of beans and thick layer of fake Mexican "Manchego" cheese. $140 pesos??!! Don't waste your money. Stick with local places.

Terrible stay here. The staff was very unfriendly. They didn't even look at us, when we came and left and said hello/goodbye. Our room was extremely small and claustrophobic. We kept getting cuts from walking into things, because there was no space. We didn't get cleaning altough we asked for it. The room was completely empty! No amenities at all! And the shower didn't work properly, so the water was spayed everywhere. And the worst part of it: they charged us 800 pesos(!) because they found a small stain on one of the sheets and one of the towels
