Lion Fish - 77940 Mahahual

Excellent food, every day we could choose fish we would like to eat. This is not cheap restaurant, but it's worth every peso I spend there. Beautiful view on beach, palms and sea. The owner is really cool and helpful guy.

Fabulous venue for a beach day, take your snorkelling gear. The Restaurant is on Calle Liza off the main street Calle Sardina. A taxi here from the cruise port is only $10. They have a beach area with beds and shade under palm trees. The sea is fantastic and seaweed free. The guys bring you ice cold drinks; they have a great cerveza selection including local Monteja and my personal favourite Sol. For lunch you have to try the super fresh fish tacos - I think I saw them bringing my fish in on the boat. They make home made Mayan spicy salsa. Two beds were $10 and a few cervezas and two fish tacos was only $55. They speak English. By the restaurant they have toilets and a shower for you to freshen up. Super friendly guys.
