You are awesome @maxanab. We stayed here twice for a beach day. Super nice and so friendly service People especially Cornelio, Roberto and Jose. Theyve been so fast and sweet. We felt very welcomed and had such a relaxing time here. 1000 pesos To get in, get a towel, a sun bank and entrance To the Pool. The 1000 pesos entry you can exchange into food and Drinks. It’s Lovely because you don’t have a Crowded beach in this Beach Club and the People who going here arent those annoying Instagram people. So you will be able To relaxe and enjoy this peace of heaven.

This is a hard review to write. In many ways the hotel is perfect (great room design, very good food and cocktails, wonderful bath products) but in the end I wouldn't stay here again. We had an ocean front room but unlike our room at encantada down the beach I didn't think it made the most of its setting. We heard the music from their bar and restaurant from sunrise until 11pm or so. I'd rather hear the ocean and even at night there is no screen on the door if you'd rather turn off ac and leave door open. There are some maintenance issues they could fix. On the other hand it's more lively and less honeymoon only vibe which would be good for some younger guests if you're looking to have fun while in luxury. All this to say it's wonderful but at this price it should be perfect and the energy wasn't for me.

My wife and I decided to go to Tulum in December and stayed at Ma'Xanab hotel. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone considering going to Tulum. Ma'Xanab is a boutique hotel that has 16 rooms available which offers a more intimate relationship with the staff. By the end of the trip, we were on a first name basis with the front desk and restaurant staff. Location Ma'Xanab is located in a perfect location. We were able to walk to the restaurants for dinner, to other beach clubs, and convivence store. It felt like it was in the heart of Tulum, not to far south or north, but also very quiet at night time Jungle Suite We stayed in the Jungle suite. There was a plunge pool, outside shower, inside shower, and AC. The room has room service twice a day if needed, Nespresso pods, and these granola cookies that are delicious. Food & Beverage Besides the hotel being absolutely breath taking, breakfast is included with the stay. The breakfast meal was large portions of omelets and fresh fruit. They also offer espresso options and fresh juice. We ordered the crudite almost everyday while we sat under the cabana or had it brought to our room. The alcohol beverages were delicious. From classic margaritas to paloma's to a one-off cocktails, I would recommend the drink. They weren't watered down and they used top shelf liquor Rentals The hotel also offers you the ability to rent a bicycle for free. You can also rent a scooter for a small fee. Both are great to pop around Tulum Would absolutely recommend this hotel looking to stay in Tulum.

Nice place but know what you’re paying for. We went for the ground floor suite at the front with a private plunge pool, for two nights. We booked direct and paid over $800 a night as the special treat at the end of our trip, and my review is specifically of that room, and considering the price. The room was BEAUTIFUL. But for the money it wasn’t quite what we expected. The plunge pool is unheated and largely in the shade in the afternoon. Combine that with a strong coastal breeze, at least while we were there, and it was too cold to use as much as we would have liked even in 32C/90F weather. From the afternoon it was almost uncomfortable to be in. Second, be aware this isn’t a relaxing place to be, depending on your taste in music. From late morning until about 6pm there is fairly loud music from the bar and pool area. On our first day the playlist was totally generic house music with heavy bass. In the balcony area this was borderline tolerable for us; fine if you’re sitting drinking and chatting, but if you wanted to relax or read forget it. In the room itself it sounded like we were next to a club. THUD THUD THUD THUD. Playing your own music in or outside the room just wasn’t possible despite the provided speaker. Staff very good. Food great but pricey. Very little visible effort to clear seaweed too. So if you’re considering paying the heavy premium for this stunning room be sure it’s what you want. If you want to feel like you’re at a Tulum beach club but in a private area, this is it. If you want to feel like you’re at a relaxing boutique hotel, I’d look elsewhere. Final comment: the gym is basic and not very well air conditioned, with ageing multi gym equipment, a flat/fixed bench and free weights that top out at 50lbs/23kg. As one of the few beachfront hotels of this quality with a gym, your options are limited but this won’t serve you well for a good weight training session if that’s your thing.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been in. Service, cleanliness and location are amazing. All the experience from check in to Checkout was seamless and kind. I definitely recommend this hotel for those who are looking for luxury beachfront and quiet stay.

Amazing Beach Club. Our favorite beach club in Tulum. We were only in the beach club and not in the hotel. The lounge chairs are new and in very good quality. The team (Josê, Hermelindo, and all) are doing a very friendly, polite and perfect job. Easy/good parking in front of the hotel (for free). Recommendation: try the apple crunchy desert!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we loved it. The staff was awesome and super helpful. We loved our room and the hotel was right on the water! Drinks were pricey, but that’s pretty normal for a boutique hotel. It was so cute and I have nothing to complain about. We would definitely stay here again.

Best service, amazing location, you can party or relax both. Super destination for couples and groups of friends. Great Mexican cuisine. Bedrooms are spacious and functional. Choose the partial view to the Ocean is the perfect combination of privacy and view.
