Maya Luxe - 77717 Playa del Carmen

We been at Zacil Na Village, located really close from Playa del Carmen. Its so comfortable and perfect to share time with the family or just get a private party. Mayaluxe give us the option to make our grocery and also the concierge help us a lot to make an amazing travel experience. We absolutely recommend Mayaluxe.

I’m afraid I can’t help saying that we feel that we were completely deceived by Maya Luxe on our stay in Soliman Bay. There was absolutely no indication given about the extreme seaweed situation at Soliman Bay. Imagine planning a trip that, for us, was very real money and a special 70th birthday trip for my husband, to be focused entirely around beach and watersports(which your team well knew), and arriving, not being forewarned until we literally walked into the house, to a nauseating and toxic smell and not being able to walk one foot into the ocean. And this situation had not just occurred. We discovered that this had been this extreme situation for a minimum of ten days.To think that we actually paid for this and are being told, "oh well.” Really?? We didn’t get what we thought we paid for and are just being told, “sorry.” It’s outrageously unfair of the owner and the on ground team to take our money in full. No beach, no swimming, no snorkeling and a sickening stench the entire time. How could this be ok by anyone’s standards with absolutely no communication by you or anyone???? We have traveled extensively around the world and have had our own company for decades. When mistakes were made, which they were, we made it right at our own expense. We have never experienced anything like this — nor have any of our friends with whom we have shared this story. We feel like the owner of the house and Maya Luxe, who appear to pride themselves in exceptional customer service, completely dropped the ball and are accepting zero accountability, even to inform us of the situation at a minimum. It’s just not right, and I feel like our money was literally stolen. I would tell anyone to not use Maya Luxe.

The travel agency was awful. Luckily, the villa we chose was not! They were very slow to respond from the start that should have been a sign for us. We went with Maya Luxe anyway thinking they may have been busy since travel opened back up. The concierge, Lorenza was the worst. She gave me her WhatsApp number just to ignore most of them. The communication went from bad to worst throughout our experience and after our last deposit to pay for the vacation, completely unresponsive. A lot of the villas have direct booking through their site for the same price listed under Maya Luxe. I WOULD highly recommend going through the direct sites or going with another travel agency. This has been the worst travel agency company I’ve dealt with and we travel a lot. We ended up communicating with the villa’s concierge directly, who was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Maya Luxe did a fantastic job catering to our needs. The attention to detail was spot on. The property that we stayed at was AMAZING!!! The beach and pool were pristine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It felt very much like our home away from home. I look forward to returning someday. I highly recommend booking through Maya Luxe!!

Not even 1 star !!!! This company is a complete FRAUD. They are the middle man and keep all the money themselves, will not speak to customers, will not provide ANY solutions to the problem and DO NOT offer any refunds for bad accommodations. During Spring Break - April 4-9 2022. We booked 3 bedroom Villa in Tulum, Casa Ganesh and had concerns of the music next door prior to arrival. Our travel agent through Smartflyer, found this villa through Journeys Mexico - who we paid, however we didn't realize until we had issues at arrival that Maya Luxe controls the money and the experience. Maya Luxe offered no options. The Rosa Negra Day Club has the loudest music you have ever experienced pumping from 11 am to 7 pm everyday. Think of being in a military torture chamber. Then at 10 pm to 1 am the front of the club turns in to a music-dinner club. You literally couldn't hear yourself think or relax or sleep. We were told Tulum is famous for bars and nightlife, but this is a completely different experience. At the Villa, which we paid $1500/night, we had NO Air Conditioning in the Master Bed and No Air in the main living area. The hotel GM that the property is attached to was wonderful. He apologized, treated us to lunch and provided their portion of the refund. He said Maya Luxe knew the situation at the villa and still books people. I have never experienced anything like this in our many travels. We have been working with the President and COO of Journeys Mexico to try and get all our money back and they finally said Maya Luxe won't do anything. Journeys Mexico and our agent refunded any commissions they received on our booking to help with the expense to go to a new place. After 2 miserable nights, we paid our own way to move to a new location. Travelers be warned before you book anything through Maya Luxe or even through another company where Maya Luxe controls the experience.

Villa Amaite by Maya Luxe is a piece of heaven on earth, the villa has a feng shui and flow into each piece if it’s structures. We spent a week celebrated the new year 2022 with our friends and children, the villa is children friendly comes with all sorts of activities for all ages. The ocean reefs near by perfect for a day of snorkeling and soak salt water. The villa comes with full staff and chef Christian unbelievable meals words can’t describe, the margaritas were seriously real thanks to Daniel. Sohaley & Jesus were working and getting every experience special. We would recommend the Villa to singles, and families that wants to experience a new way of vacationing spending time. I can see also how this place can be used for corporate events, etc. Happy New Year 2022. We are so grateful spending the new year with our best friends. Much Love Mohammad & Jacqueline

Maya Luxe is amazing. The original house we had rented was having some issues, they contacted me a week prior and offered to relocate us to an even larger and nicer brand new home. The concierge and booking team are great! The house staff, butler, chef, assistant chef we’re all top notch as well - friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend Maya Luxe for anyone looking to book a home for vacation in Quintana Roo area, especially if you have a large family!

We booked 4 villas on Soliman Bay (Semilla, Soliman, Sueno Del Mar, and Moonstar) for our wedding and had the most incredible wedding and vacation we could have ever dreamed of! Jeremie was so incredible at helping us choose the right villas for our group size and ensuring they were within in easy walking distance from one another. Diego was the ultimate rockstar and spent so much time working with me to coordinate shuttles, a cenote tour, and a yacht rental, all for 35 people! Once we arrived Lorena was our host and was so helpful and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. The chefs at the villas were so talented and we had incredible food every day! The villas were all stunningly beautiful and our friends and family are already dying to go back. We’re actually talking about making it an annual group trip because everyone said it was the best vacation they’d ever had. We will definitely be booking with Mayaluxe again!
