Excellent small group by Mercedes Car and Mercedes Van tour of Chichen Itza and Cenote. The vehicles were comfortable, the driver safe and friendly, and the guide very knowledgable. We truly enjoyed the private entrance at Chichen Itza, small group tour (it felt private) and the fact that we did the Cenote first beforehand when it was almost empty. I highly recommend this tour.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Worst tour company I have ever had the displeasure of using. The tour we were on was a big commercial for Mayaland Resorts. They spent almost an hour telling us about the resort, selling chocolate, selling jewelry, etc. All we wanted to do was see Chichen Itza. To add insult to injury, the guide didn’t even provide accurate information or take is to some of the more important ruins on the site. We fact checked him when we returned just to learn he shared incorrect facts. The other problem we experienced is that the company never confirmed the second part of our tour. They scheduled us on a day that would not work for us. When we approached them for a refund on the portion that we did not use and did so within their cancellation period, we were basically given the run around. Apparently the supervisor (Rosa Gutierrez) is never in the office because no matter what time of the day I call, she is never there. Unfortunately, we were not the only dissatisfied customers. We were in another tour with two another families that was also extremely dissatisfied with the tour. Poor communication. Poorly informed guides. Poorly planned tours. Poor customer service. There are plenty of wonderful tour companies. Do yourself a favor and book with one of them.

We did a tour to the ruins from Merida. The booking agent across from the grande Park Eduardo was excellent and explained everything to us. Our driver and her guide, Rosendo Pech Who is all around excellent. Great driver and very informed about the sites. Definitely recommend taking day trips with them out of merida

The company that I used to book my travel in Mexico booked Mayaland Tours as my transport to and from the airport. While we all arrived safely it was not without my driver committing several driving infractions, one of which almost got us T-boned getting on to a highway as he decided to go around the car who was next in line. The driver was talking on the phone most of the way. Overall, an average to less than average experience to end my trip. The other transport company that I used was much more cautious in terms of driving habits.

Did a tour to Chichen Itza with the Mayaland Tours Agency. It was a great day visiting archeological building and hearing histories about Mayas and the mysteries about that place. The hotel is gorgeous, well connected to nature and the exclusive entrance is incredible, with no crowds and queues. Buffet lunch was good, but quite confuse for me (there are several places to pick the food, and it’s not well explained). There were a typical dance presentation during lunch, it was funny and entertaining. The cenote, visited after chichen, was beautiful and empty. Our guide was Delio (and Hernandez as driver), which I highly recommend. It was a calm, but not boring, walk through the ruins, with a good time to explore by my own and take pictures. Very informative.

2 of us did the tour to Chichen Itza. It was an awesome day visiting the little town with the Cathedral, and city park. Then off to swim at a beautiful Cenote. The buffet lunch provided was very good! Heads up, no bathing suits aloud in the restaurant. So bring a change of clothes. There is a locker available. The market here was nice but very expensive. We drove through the jungle to see how the current life of the Mayans look. Then we arrived at the Ruins location, it was absolutely an amazing experience. They have some vendors for drinks and food at the main entrance, had the Mango Margarita at the bar, amazing! There are people scattered all over the property around the trails to sale items, and they are very affordable! The bus was very comfortable, AC & WiFi, and a bathroom for #1 only!! The driver was fantastic! You can buy a package on the bus that includes: all drinks on the bus all day, a locker, towel, the goggles, life jacket, and 1 drink at lunch for the Cenote for $18 US. Totally worth it!! These items cost you extra per individual at the Cenote. We bought 1 and that was perfect for us. We took our own little cooler for the day and left it on the bus while we were out site seeing. On the way home, we stopped for a bathroom break and we got food and it was delicious. The guide are very informative and friendly. They share lots of stories and really make the long day worth it! Thank you guys! Fantastic experience all around!
