★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is a very small mercado, it has two restaurants that were open and seated space, but there are other stores like a few butchers in the area which you can smell the meat, but overall, the food was great and cheap. Don't get your hopes up, it is a very small mercado, and it was nice to be able to buy some fresh fruits too from a local.

We visited “Las Veracruzanas” so many times. Best food ever. Tasty, clean, homemade and fresh.
Did I mention how cheap is?
One adult can have a complete meal with a huge natural juice for $6 USD.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On our first day there we had lunch at “las veracruzanas” and was not disappointed. One of our waiters was a little 7 year old boy that was the cutest and sweetest little thing. Food was extremely authentic and cheap. There are no vendors pressuring you to buy things. Many street dogs in the are but none bothered either. Would def come back
