Great place to stay, lovely amenities, free bikes and breakfast, very clean. Location out a bit so be mindful of this in the hot sun. Also the google location is not accurate - it is at the end of this road.

I had never been to Holbox, and had no idea what to expect. But from the moment me and my friend at Mis Suenos, we were made to feel like Holbox family. Straight away we were personally shown our rooms, which are extremely clean, tranquil and spacious. We were welcomed by Jessica, who explained to us the breakfast ties, and the best things to do in the area. This was extremly helpful to our settling in. The next morning we were treated to a great nutritious breakfast, which really gives you a great start to the door. The chef Victor is amazing! Yaniar kept our rooms meticulous, and ensured any queries we had were quickly resolved. And Rodrigo is the man who knows everything Holbox if you want to know any information. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel which perfectly captures the spirit of Holbox. Beautiful, calm and natural.

Terrible stay at Miss Suenos: - Bad service from staff, don’t speak a word of English - Street to the hotel constantly flooded, had to wade through the mud every day - Unclarity on payment at end of the day - Poor wifi

The room was quite big, bed comfortable, shower ok and with hot water, it just takes a while until it starts. We appreciated that hotel provided drinkable water, it was possible to take it at the reception. We also had breakfast which was good. Only inconvenience is the fact that it is very complicated to get there. It is 10 minutes by walk to the city center, but this is not a problem. Problem is that the road is flooded. And it is not only the case when it rains but just in front of the hotel it is flooded the whole time probably. The water stinks a lot, there are algues inside…in our case we had to hold to branches and jump from one rock to another one to reach the hotel. And every time when you go to the city you have to do that. It is not hotel’s fault, but the location is really unfortunate. Dont go there if you have big luggage, small kids or you don’t feel you can manage to hold to branches. We had only backpacks but still, I was worried to slip and fall into the water as it stinks so much and you don’t know how deep it is…Maybe you can take a taxi to go there, but no idea how deep the water is and if it can pass without you being covered by stinky water… Not sure if the hotel can do something about this and build a passage to reach the hotel securely. It is a big minus and a real pity as otherwise the hotel is nice. But I would not stay there again due to this road problem. It can be a real pain especially when you return to your hotel in the dark after dinner. To answer what was shared by the hotel: yes obviously we followed google maps to get there, as we do always when we go to a new place. So please check your location on google maps as apparently is not correct. It might help other visitors.

Enjoyed my stay here! Actually booked on very short notice and the staff were really accommodating and helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable. Hammocks outside the room are very comfortable to sit in. The hotel is about a 7-12 min walk (depending on how fast you walk) from the main downtown area. I didn’t mind this too much, however, in the heat it can get a bit much as there is not much shade also at night its fairly secluded. I’m a female and was travelling alone and felt safe but some may not feel as confident.
