Best Japanese restaurant in Mexico

L	Lady Bear on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a reservation at 9:30 and we made it with kids who passed their bed time. Unfortunately, we got a chef who is not fully skilled but trying really hard. Unlike other tables, we didn’t get the magnificent show or anything. All I watched was grilling.... Boring!! Haha I can say that it is really up to the skill that the chef assigned. Make sure that you got the good one!!

L	LaughTillYu Die on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a fun adventure- to say the least. The food and wait for what we received consistently throughout the 10 various dishes, was very sub par. I recommend going elsewhere for dinner if you can’t get seated immediately. Chaotic.

Downside is that they require reservations and you have to be there at 4:45 pm of the day just to book a table for the day. They don't accept reservations over phone or in prior to the day. When I came there, I waited for 30 minutes in the long line. And at last they said no more seats were available. What a terrible experience and waste of time. Also the restaurant is very noisy.
G	Gurleen Riar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you go to Moon Palace resort in Cancún, Mexico you have to go to Momo! My cousins and I loved this restaurant, all the menu items were delicious! And we came here every night of our stay for the delicious fried ice cream!
K	Kathy Nguyen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool place! I got the milky tom yum as an appetizer. It tasted like tom yum soup mixed with milk and Thai chile peppers. Wasn't a fan of it but my 1-year-old niece liked it. The mocktails were interesting. I recommend the passion fruit mocktail. Chef who cooked our food was cool and charismatic, also doing fun tricks. You're allowed 2 different types of meat in your teppanyaki. The dessert was my favorite part. It was a sweet, milky bread with ice cream and hot apples on top. Waiters are very attentive.

Recommended great drink pairings with various courses of food and good spice levels for us. Would recommend and if you can hit up Armando.

There was still a wait even though we had a reservation. And then we waited once we got seated, and then we waited again... It felt like a whole lot of waiting for not a lot of return. The entree meats were okay. Mine and my husband's were overcooked. We really loved the sushi and the beef we had as an appetizer though. If I went back to Momo, I think I would just do the regular table seating where you have a wider variety of menu items to choose from and can enjoy things at your own pace.
