It is a good route, only the last part of the ascent is a little more complicated. Only the signage is scarce and I think that in rainy weather it will be much more pleasant

Hermoso y asombroso!
Beautiful and amazing! A perfect place for hiking, depending on your physical condition, you can make the route between 1 hour to 2 and a half hours up and somewhat the same down. They are approximately 4.5 km uphill. The views are spectacular, it is completely worth the effort. It is not dangerous, maybe in the rainy season a little. And at the top you come to some rocks that you have to climb, it is the only "dangerous" thing. But the view from there is amazing.

Experiencia totalmente recomendable.
Fully recommended experience. At this point the path to the viewpoint begins. On 02-11-22, the parking lot was not working and we had to leave the car on the road. You will find this crossing a little the small stream that goes down, there you will immediately observe the path. The route to reach the top is easy to follow, from what you get there, you get there without any problem.

Excellent place to do ? walks and a bit of hiking, the path is marked on trees and stones so I don't think you need a guide. However, it will require a certain degree of physical condition. anyone can do it but I'll be honest I'm afraid of heights and I didn't climb the rocks ? lol but that doesn't mean you can't get high enough to appreciate the whole beach ?. If there is parking a little higher than where the houses end ?

We loved this hike. We got a taxi here, walked up Monkey Mountain ( great views) then down all the way to Sayulita, what a brilliant Sunday adventure, highly recommend. So many empty spots, golden beaches + so little people! We started our day at 8.30am + got back to Sayulita around 2pm.

This is a pretty good hike with some challenging terrain if you want to go all the way to the top, which you do! Amazing views and a decent work out at roughly just over 3 miles from the gate to the top and back!

Great hike with amazing views! Bring lots of water and be prepared for some rock hopping near the top! Follow the white paint on trees and rocks. Trail can be a little tricky to follow at times. Trailhead also a little difficult to find but the first locals we asked, gave us great directions! Parking lot still under construction so we just parked off the side of the road by the creek.
