★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This new property was huge in comparison to other properties in Tulum including the trendy ones off the hotel strip. I actually preferred staying here than by the ones by the beach which can be overpriced. I also intentionally booked this because of the air-conditioning. Oct is mosquito season so be wary of the outdoor spots because even with repellant I was still attacked. Mudra is a great spot if you rent a car. I loved that it was much more quieter and isolated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mudra was a decent apartment/hotel. The staff was really nice and were friendly. I wish the property it self had a little better up keep. The pool was a tad bit dirty with leaves and debris. The walk way to my room was interesting all the foliage. The location was also decent close enough to town, if you rent a bike from the property you will be fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WARNING! Our belongings were stolen at the hotel. hotel service terrible, they were not interested in finding our stuff. The rooms are nice but very poorly equipped, no basic utensils. Nobody is interested in the needs of clients, in particular the manager. There are many other better accommodation options in the area. I do not recommend!
