Oscar & Lalo Restaurant, Bar & Grill - 77780 Tulum

We were so lucky to find this restaurant. My grandkids have it as one of their favorite moments of our vacation. We have been there twice already and the kids are begging to go again. Virginia is so personable and just an all around good person. The service was over the top. And the food was amazing. The fresh fish outstanding. Pulled pork and tacos were great. The adult drinks were perfect. The ceviche and guacamole superb. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We love it and may go again before we leave. 5 stars is not enough. And this is the first time I have ever written a review on Google. Do not miss going to this gem

OMG, this place is amazing. First of all, MAKE RESERVATIONS. They're so good that if you just drop in, you may never get seated because there's no room. Once you do get seated, you're in for some of the most amazing seafood you've ever had (though, they do prepare more than just seafood). Hands down, they served the best ceviche I ever ate. Everything we ate was delicious, many ingredients are grown on the property and those that aren't are source locally. And the staff bends over backwards to make sure you're enjoying your meal. No kidding, I could eat there every day for a week and still not have tasted everything on the menu that sounded delicious. Looking forward to a second visit already!

This place is beutiful, have a good aparence, the menu is very good and have a good service.

Our first place we stopped whilst travelling around. Virginia was a wonderful host. My kids haven't stopped talking about her. She made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. The food was hands down the best we had during our stay. Definitely try the seafood and pepper stew and the coconut fish. Beautiful decor and lovely and clean. Thank you!

Beautiful spot for dinner or lunch. Get the Lola Special, ceviche, and guac. So delicious. Great margaritas too?!

Atmosphere was intimate and amazing, much more than I was expecting. There were 6 tables I believe situated in an outside covered courtyard...very nice open air outside area, nicely spaced so you could not hear other conversations. It looked like there was also another casual area with some chairs and a fire pit (it was nearing close, so the only area of the restaurant being utilized was the outdoor section we were in...they also had a large indoor area.) The food was amazing! Guacamole was freshly made and a very generous serving. I had the seafood stuffed poblano pepper and my partner the skirt steak....all I can say is muah magnificent. Reservations are needed but can be placed online. We had no issues with bugs/mosquitos like others reported when we were there but I could see how during the right season it could be an issue as there are a lot of plants surrounding the outdoor area...plan accordingly, just in case!

An absolute MUST when visiting the area! Virginia was a wonderful host! The garden was a beautiful place to enjoy such a spectacular dinner! The food was just delicious, from start to finish! We can't wait to return!

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST FOOD I HAVE HAD IN YEARS!!!!!!!! OMMMGGG!!!! the food is delicious! You may not like it if you’re used to eating unhealthy foods like McDonald’s this is far from that!!! This place is magical!!! Me, my husband, and my mother in law came here and loved our lunch so much we came back for dinner!!!!! The owner Virginia came by our table to check on us and was so kind and pleasant not only is it a beautiful and unique restaurant the food is absolutely unheard of I promise you will love it!! I am still SHOCKED!!! I don’t understand a negative review of this place, its impossible when you talk about the food. I am an honest person and only leave reviews when I feel its really needed. We’ve already added this place on our schedule to come back! The food is made from scratch and with love, you can totally taste that! We all had to go say hi to the chefs and personally thank them! Absolutely amazing without a doubt every meal we had was delicious!!!! OMG!!! Thank you all for your hard work it really shows. Sahsha
