STAFF ROBBED ALL OUR MONEY! NEVER EVER GO TO PAL MAR TULUM, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! NOTICE, THIS IS THE SECOND REVIEW ON BOOKING ABOUT THE STAFF STEELING MONEY, THERE OBVIOUSLY IS A BIG PROBLEM! We booked 5 nights as a couple with a baby and let me tell you, we have travelled all over the world and never has something like this happened. On the second morning we returned from breakfast to realise our room was beeing cleaned and the AC maintained. In total there were 4 people in and out of our room, two who we have met before. At that point they were all still very nice, especially to our baby. So we packed our things for the beach and left them to it. Notice, there was NO SAFE in the room, so we hid our cash in different places in our backpacks, for example INSIDE OUR HEADPHONES (!). We returned about an hour later (door was locked) and my husband realised, that someone had been into our small backpack and one envelope with cash was missing- as was all the cash in all the other hiding places. IN TOTAL THEY STOLE 670 EUROS! AND WENT THROUGH ALL OUR STUFF TO FIND EVERY PENNY! We immediately contacted Andres, the owner and Booking.com, and confronted the staff. Two guys seemed very shocked and sincere, one of the guys though, couldn't look us in the eye anymore and started FLASHING A SCREWDRIVER at my wife, who was holding the baby. We felt so unsafe, we couldn't stay inside and had to wait on the parking place in the bright sun, for TWO HOURS with a baby, till the owner arrived. (To be fair, he was in traffic and left straight away...). We offered to call no police, if just a part (!) of our money, would be returned and was for example laid down back in the room. My wife was crying, but we stayed polite and cooperative the entire time, eventhough it was a nightmare and our entire travel money was stolen. We are not rich, we are backpackers with a baby. Andres at first did try to help, talked to his staff in private and promised to contact us the next day, after we have left and our stay was completely canceld. After a message, in that the staff said it wasn't them, he never replied again. It was absolutely obvious, that it was the staff and it actually really seemed, as if they all knew it was that one young guy. Even when we adressed our suspicion, no one denied it could have been him. We did contact the police a day later and filed a complaint, but obviously no help. TOTAL NIGHTMARE! Apart from this nightmare: we had cockroaches in our room, it was quite loud in the night and no one wore masks- only when the owner appeared masks and Covid-19 measures were applied... to be fair, location is good and it is pretty.

Awesome place to stay in Tulum! Host was amazing, rented us bikes, and was generous with his time. The space was perfect, air conditioning was great, and hot water shower was good. Recommend staying here!

Great spot! Loved the container. It was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The location was excellent for us. In between Nômade and the Daniel Popper at Ahau! We had a lovely stay. Only issue is it gets very noisy in the container when it rains. Probably not the best place for light sleepers in the rainy season!

We stayed in Tulum for a few weeks. This place surpassed all expectations!!! Super clean rooms. The cleaning lady was warm and felt like an old friend. The owner or manager Andreas was fast to respond always and VERY accommodating. The LOCATION IS BOMB! Right next to everything in Tulum beach. If you like to go to trendy bars and have a nightlife but go home at night and have privacy qnd a little less noise,, this is your spot! Eco friendly container homes are the best bet in Tulum because they kept out the mosquitoes and stay cool. Every other place we stayed was like a horror movie with the bites every morning. Mosquitos ove us gringos lol. Chill vibe, great management and privacy. Can't reccomend this place any more!!!

We were robbed in this place by the staff. They stole a lot of money from our backpack! The owner was not really willing to help us, even though it was clear that one of the staff stole the money. The door was not broken up! Also the area is very noisy and we had cockroaches in the room! Avoid this place, don't go there!!

Con: I got two big insect bites I didnt know what it was until I saw the cockroach in the morning. The top container gets hot during 10-2pm because the sun hits the container and even with the AC it gets pretty hot. No cold shower if there is it is very little water. Pros: the owner is very accommodating. Our place was cleaned everyday. We booked through airbnb and he answers every time we had questions. He even gave us a tour guide to go to chitzen itza and it was amazing. The beach club access with coco limited was 5/5.

The 'room' was not as in the pictures at all. Was pretty basic and not nice. There is to say though that the place is in a great location, with prices that are quite below the average of the area, offers parking, and there is hot water, so it's not really bad. Just different from what is advertised.

DO NOT STAY HERE. In all my years of traveling, I have never been so mislead by a listing for a hotel, mostly thanks to booking.com and their false advertisement. This 'hotel' is absolutely disgusting, and the rooms are nothing like the pictures. They are shipping containers that have been made up as a hotel, and feel more like staying in a jail cell. There were dirty towels hanging from the windows in place of curtains, a shower curtain hanging in front of the door that was not even wide enough to cover the sides (you could literally see into the room from the sides of the glass door.) There was no water pressure in the shower, let alone hot water, which showering nearly impossible. They did not even provide soap in the bathroom to wash your hands with, during COVID. There were ants all over the room, I even found them in the bed multiple times. I cannot say enough terrible things about this place, as a solo female traveler I felt unsafe and unsaintly staying here. I had to eventually end my stay early, no thanks to the property or booking.com to find any other accommodations or getting my money back. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay, I wish I had.
