N	Nick Tattanelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bathroom smells, shower takes 10+ minutes wasting water to get slightly warm, bathroom door has no way to close and makes the room smell like sewer periodically cleaned which is altogether too often to smell of sewer. Great view ruined by bathroom issues….also, owner refused to refund us even though MAJOR construction was happening 100 feet from the hotel. Just can’t recommend this place….however SUPER unique style and wanted to love it…

All the things I need in international travel--and without the cheesy resort crowd, which was even better! For the price, it's one of the best values. And I love that it was off the beaten path.

None of the photos show that an entire wall of the room is made of wooden French doors with windows into the breakfast area. The hallways lights are so bright you can't fall asleep at night and the breakfast noise is so loud you can't sleep in. The shower was a dribble, but it was hot. The novelty of the building and the rooftop pools are enough to give 4 stars, and the hospitality was great. My sleep, however, was not.

We had AC dripping water on our face the first night and the second night we struggled with toilet not functioning. The cleaning could have been much better and the sheets smelled weird and were stained. I booked this hotel because I normally have outstanding services and cleanliness in Boutique hotels, but this was not the case here. Nice location close to many restaurants tho.

The location was perfect - being only a short walk from the beach and wonderful restaurants - whilst the staff could not have been more helpful. Their level of customer service was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble, meaning we had a wonderful relaxing stay. We loved the unusual and eclectic decor and the fact we were located in a quieter area of the city. We can not thank Grant, Carolina or Angel enough for making this the best holiday we have had in a very very long time and we will see you again later this year! Something we have never done, but we feel at the Rivera Del Rio we have found a home from home! We can not recommend this hotel enough! 5 star from start to finish.

The rooftop pools and jacuzzi are awesome, super friendly staff and excellent location close to a lot of bars and restaurants but still quiet. This place has a charm and beauty that's hard to put into words. I absolutely want to come back here to stay on my next visit. Protip: We booked directly through the hotel website rather than booking.com etc. and as a result got an (AMAZING) breakfast included daily.
C	Christopher Fleming on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve stayed at Rivera Del Rio back in April and it was amazing. The boutique hotel just had a renovation and added some great new features. On the top of the hotel there is now a roof top infinity pool and bar with friendly staff. There’s food options, cold beer and fresh margaritas ? The room I had was the Josephine and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud with black out curtains for late sleep ins. The room had a balcony with a view of the river with no other building close by looking in. In the morning they have a full kitchen where they can cook you breakfast and serve you coffee and fresh juice. I’ve recommended this hotel to my friends and whoever wants a special vacation.
