Filas interminables, poca atención de los ejecutivos, aún visualizando la sala llena dan nula celeridad a sus procesos, he asistido a esta sucursal al menos 4 ocasiones, en ninguna de ellas el tiempo de espera en mi visita es menor a dos horas, por cosas tan sencillas como actualización de datos

Es un servicio completamente deficiente en esta sucursal, solo 2 asesores para atender a muchísimas personas un día de quincena después de un día festivo, al personal le hace falta amabilidad y educación. Lamentable que en tiempo de pandemia tengas que estar más de 3 horas en un lugar para realizar un trámite de 5 minutos con ruido de taladros aspiradoras y demas equipo de mantenimiento. no hay ningún protocolo de salud en este lugar, no checan la temperatura, no te brindan gel antibacterial etc. Lamentable y aún más lamentable las respuesta de los empleados que pretenden solucionar todo con un vaya a otra sucursal. santander por favor atiendan está situación.

Santander ATM fee is only 35 pesos. If there is a cheaper ATM, I haven't found it.

If you want to waste a day in a boring place, this is it! Lines that take 45-90+ mins are pretty typical.

4 ATMs open late night and weekend, though not available in English so no good if you're a tourist and don't speak spanish

Gringos, use the ATM here, only 25 peso fee plus wharever your home bank charges. The other banks charge 80 peso ATM fee

NEVER USE THIS @#&$-# bank or ATM!!!!!!! I trusted Santander. Most famous bank in Spain. Clean and modern-looking ATMs. What a mistake. The ATM MALFUNCTIONED in the middle of the transaction and SHUT DOWN with my only American bank card inside!!! I waited at the bank for over one hour PRAYING it would restart and return my card. There was not a single person to help inside Santander and not even a phone number to call in the event of an ATM problem. After ONE HOUR, the machine finally rebooted and...IT WOULD NOT RETURN MY CARD. I am now going to have to wait three weeks (shipping is delayed because of Covid) for my American bank to FedEx me a new one as a tourist with no home or family here. The Santander Mexico website is so terrible that you can't even find a number to call for this situations without hours of searching and when you finally call they speak no English. (You are right next to America...but all the employees in Spain speak English.) This level of technical neglect of a major bank's ATMs on the main street of one of the most heavily visited cities in Mexico is completely UNACCEPTABLE. I have seen ATMs malfunction in poorer countries around the world from Ukraine to Palestine and every single time the machine was programmed to at least return the card in those situations. This branch is a disgrace to Santander's name and the nation of Mexico. For all I know, my card was taken as part of a scam. Update: After spending almost three hours at the branch the next today - with mostly very unhelpful employees who pretended to speak no English but actually did - and giving a presentation worth of a top lawyer - I got my card back. See the picture. The machine had automatically cut it in half for no reason. I have been to almost 70 countries around the world including many much poorer than Mexico and never seen this happen. This will cause me crazy inconvenience to my trip, and I may miss work or could even get fired back home because of it. This branch desperately needs to fix its broken ATMs.
