There was only one person in front of me who was taking an unusually long time (no big deal) but when I got up to order, they were out of coffee and it would take 4 minutes to brew. They didn't have the dark roast or lighter roast ready. They had 1 job and failed. No apologies either from the unsympathetic employee. I just had to walk out...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous Starbucks, but the WiFi sucks and I have to use Haagan Daaz next door. Plus there is one guy working the register who always charges more than the drink costs, and has to be corrected. I wonder how many people don't realize what he is doing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like Starbucks, you will definitely love this place. We visited Ah Cacao almost every day, After 8 weeks they still were unable to get our drinks right. After that we tried Starbucks a few times during our stay in Playa del Carmen. The drinks and the food were consistently perfect. The staff speaks English and seems to be well trained. Just the way you would expect from Starbucks. Very pleasantly surprised and happy about our experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, good service..the only thing, the outdoor tables are not on a flat floor so they are ALWAYS moving if you touch them, dengerous when you put your hot coffee on them, so be careful .
