Best Sushi restaurant in Mexico

M	M. George (MG) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normally Sushi Club is a great experienced but I’m embarrassed of the train wreck I invited my friends to last night. After 30 mins and arm waving we finally got a sever for drinks. It took 3 different bottle of wine orders to finally get one they had on the wine list. After another 30 mins they brought one octopus plate, 40 mins after that the seafood carpaccio, very dry (idk if they had to catch the fish first, but it takes no preparation). 25 mins more half of our table’s roles; 15 mins the other half’s food. It was horrible, all cream cheese and cucumber with small scrapings on fish (cheap cheap cheap). The last roll (photo’d) came so late, and we wanted to just leave and couldn’t. And then finally, WHAM, with lightening speed came the check and getting hassled for more tip - again, just embarrassing. I hope we caught the restaurant on a really bad night but we can’t get our time, night, or experience back.

I’ve had sushi prepared by hondurans that was better. Worst part, the sushi wasn’t cold. Like… someone could get sick from that lukewarm sushi. No no no. It’s not even good compared to the price. I hope management tries some real sushi or updates the recipes just from the bad reviews. Please don’t order from here unless you like to look at your food, presentation is the best thing about it. Just get the drinks. My friend and I drinks were fantastic. My best advice is to order a sushi kit for your home and make it yourself you’ll be that much more satisfied.
