★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are a lot around in tulum so very convenient. Went to a restaurant and was $100MEX there. On the way back was $250 MEX. Not consistent. Had car #231 on way back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst experience with Taxi cabs that my wife and I have ever had during our time in Tulum. Literally every cab we got into quoted us different prices. It became very clear that the driver's were stealing money. Once I caught on, I called them out on it. 200 pesos (about $10 USD) for a 3 minute drive to some places. The driver's all wanted cash and were definitely taking their "cut." I hope that Uber comes to Tulum and puts these crooks out of business in the near future. Until then, I would not recommend anyone taking a taxi cab during your visit to Tulum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I rode with Jose Chan (#863) for 4 days and he was fast, convenient, honest, friendly, gave great suggestions on what to do or where to go. We highly recommend him. If you are lucky, you too can have an amazing experience in and around Tulum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could I would rate zero stars. I called and the guy asked me to send my location to “make things easier”. I did that, and sent him where I wanted to go and ask for the price, he ignored me and then told me “I’m on my way”. I asked again for the price and next thing I know the guy is outside. Finally, he tells me the price which was 3x more than other taxis have charged me for a 10 min ride (250 pesos). I say, no thanks, and sent him an image of the fares other taxis shared with me (attached) and he tells me “please don’t bother our place anymore” as if it was all my fault. Rude, disrespectful and trying to take advantage of people. Don’t book with them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in Airbnb where I was taking taxi everyday. The fix price is 50$ mxn in town. But a taxi driver was threat us ask more money. Be careful with the taxi drivers. Find a nice one and go everywhere with them.
