â â â â â My lunch at El Sabor de la Vida, located within the Central de Autobuses de Oaxaca, was an adventure. I was just drifting about without intention to eat anything, when I noticed that El Sabor de La Vida has vegetarian tlayudas. It actually has tlayudas with and without meat, those without meat coming with quesillo, the name that Oaxaca cheese is given locally.
A cheese tlayuda costs 35 pesos here. I placed my order and waited next to forever. Finally, my tlayuda came. It was good. I took a photo of everything, even the plate, which at the end of the meal, had leftovers upon it.
I approve of tlayudas and this cafe. They say (to me) at times, the odd strangers I meet, that tlayudas are terrible. But that's an insane thing to say. Tlayudas come in a million ways. They're a form of food, like tacos, everybody will find at least one he or she likes.
