This place had incredible history and it is really a mindblowing experiance. No temples are the same and they leave a different feel that lingers for days. This place is one of my favourites It really was a memory for life and I really recommend going here! 5/5! Go just go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crazy expensive!! 80 Pesos for Parking (No camping, you have to pay 300 for camping according to the other comments) plus 495 Pesos per Person for the ruins. When wr learned the entry was so expensive we decided to not go and tried to get the money back from the unfriendly guard, but he didnt give in. Would not go here, you obly get ripped off!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Entrance fee is quite high relative to the knowledge provided on site. Be aware of a special video camera fee and overall lack of explanatory signs. A guide or some other source of knowledge as you walk through would be highly values. Otherwise this is a good place to visit. Notice that Egyptian pyramids were built to last forever but Mayan pyramids were only built to last for 52 years. Then, that age was over and they demolished what was there and rebuilt it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Grand pyramid is a bit disappointing because only the side with the stairway has been exposed and restored. Still it is an imposing structure and unlike Chichen Itza, You can climb it all the way to the top.
