★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This business tries and squeezes every last dollar out of their service. We were overcharged (>50%) and they sat for 45 minutes waiting to fill the boat, over our scheduled departure time. If you’re in Cancun and trying to make the most of your time skip the ferry and pay for a private boat transfer to a local for $40 each.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ultramar has this "ferry stuff" figured out.
You'll be bombarded by folks trying to sell you items and/or services, but you can easily walk past them to the ticket counter, purchase your tickets, and board. They even have antigen tests on site if you might be in the need for that. Plenty of comfortable available seats onboard, with friendly staff offering snack service etc. You can choose an air conditioned interior seat or opt for a topside, open-air seat and catch the many beautiful views on your trip!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice easy way to get to Isla Mujeres. The live music on board is a little bit much, not great musicians and a little on the loud side. I think it would be enjoyable with a little less volume or if you were travelling by yourself and not trying to carry on a conversation with someone. It is however a very easy way to get to the island and back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenient, punctual, economical, frequent, professional and clean. Your quick ride (20-25 mins one way) to Isla Mujeres (and back) should be hassle-free with Ultramar speed ferries leaving from Puerto Juarez every 30 mins (5.30 am to 11 pm). Most of the staff speak English. The ferry ride was comfortable with both outdoor and indoor seating. Expect to be treated to some live (albeit loud) music. The port has a sitting area and bar serving beverages & snacks. There are a few ATM's that dispense either pesos or USD (though one of them wasn't working at the time). Parking for your car is available adjacent to the port entrance (for a few). The one I parked in cost 90 pesos for the day (or $5 US) and they accepted credit card. There is a gas station nearby too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the fastest and the bests boat service in the Cancún region. The boats start early mornings until midnight. They are clean and very well managed.
The ride back also has a musician that played great music. Really loved the experience.
They also bring you cocktails and snacks to your seat. The best seats are on the top, don’t think of sitting inside or you will miss out all the fun
