★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only reason I'm giving Vips 3 stars instead of two is because their Donuts are beyond amazing. I'm back in the States still thinking about them. But the food was too basic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were denied entry with our service animal. We were first denied entry from the host stating that pets are not allowed. We reiterated that our dog is a service animal. The manager finally came and stated the service animal could enter if we showed the documentation. We opened our files on our phone stating that our dog was a certified service animal. Then the manager changed his wording and stated we had to have a physical piece of paper stating the same information. We are very displeased with the way we were received and left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dishes are very tasteful with enough variety. Size is ok. Prices are ok and place looks clean. There is a small play ground for kids. Staff is very friendly. I would come back and try more dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very well located and perfect for having lunch when coming from a long drive from Tulum, Akumal or Puerto Aventuras. It is at the entrance of Playa del Carmen down town and it is almost over the highway which makes it trully convinient when driving on the highway. The other great merit is that fact they have a large parking area as they share it with Sams. Food is the same as all the other VIPS branches across the entire country.
