★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This gets more interesting in that I have driven by the sign for years since we first arrived. IF you want stop to take a Picture it would be wise to park at the Oxxo by the Pemex wait for the light South Bound to change to red and then walk across while the traffic is stopped... I also noticed someone had a Picture from before sign was updated.

Puerto Vallarta's welcome sign is not only well placed, colorful and very welcoming, it offers a great backdrop for taking family pictures or those necessary selfies.
