Very upset, in order to sell they get rid of you and then wash their hands. Appalling. (I save my tickets to start a claim) We bought rum, chocolates and vanilla essences, when paying we asked if we would have any inconvenience going through Miami customs on our way to Buenos Aires, specifically, they assured us that we would not and they put our purchases in plastic bags closed with tiny black plastic seals. What happened? When going through customs in Miami, they withheld our rum and vanilla because they do not accept sealed bags as safe, only vacuum-sealed bags. That has already happened to them, often, and that those at Dufry Cancun Airport should know about it. The advice they provided us was false and damaging. Quantities of merchandise are detained there, people lose money, time and go through an unpleasant situation, poorly advised. In only my group two people were harmed, on the plane I saw the cases repeated, I wonder how many times it happens on all flights. They should do something.

It was the worst experience ever I had in a duty free shop. All the salesperson was always on my back, the cashier was very rude and the packing of the stuff I bought was horrible.

Nice to see that it’s more expensive in a duty free shop. Shouldn’t be surprised love Mexico but they are constantly trying to get another dollar out of you.

They are the worst salespeople I have ever seen. I bought couple of beauty products from Chanel. I asked them to bring me closed product of the color I have chosen and they brought totally different colors instead of telling that they don’t have my preferred colors. So they put in the bag whatever they had. Always double check.

Don't buy anything in here. Please make a u-turn if you see this review. I just came back to the US after 6 day trip in Cancun. I was busy with kids at the airport so I didn't check my phone how much those tequilas they are selling here. It turned out that they are cheaper in here in the US ($10 to $20 cheaper per a bottle. I paid $48 for the bottle and you can it with $26 here in the US.) and the workers tricked me that I could only get those 1921 tequilas there in Mexico. Oh my god!! They were lying like crazy. Why should I give them ONE star to hyenas????

Buyer, passerby beware. Sales people patrol outside the store like vultures and will harass you. After daring to dodge the sales pitch, a salesman with a Portuguese accent followed us (three women) around the airport mall area, yelling at us, and stalking behind us as we actually complied to his direction to move away from his “corner”. He refused to take our “no”; we were not in the store at any point of this interaction; we continuously walked away and he proceeded to stalk and berate us. The other employees watched on in avid curiosity, and the airport staff were nowhere to be found. What rankles me is that afterwards, I didn’t feel safe enough to shop at the other stores, I dreaded leaving my corner, I panicked at the sound of any quickly approaching man when our own male friends weren’t close by, and that now I’m not sure if I even want to return to Mexico now. I’m no stranger to traveling or even to impolite stranger behavior, but this was extreme.
