Blue Playa Rentals - 77710 Playa del Carmen

Please be careful with renting with this company, very shady. They have excuses for everything and do not want to helo with any problem (not working shower, flushing toilet, no working AC). Also the accomodation is really overprice, they add 50% above the real price.

Blue Playa Rentals is a great property management company I would Highly recommend. They are organized, responsive and very good at dealing with guests. Their units are clean and well designed and their staff is very competent. What more can I say!

Liliana at Blue Play Rentals has shown that she doesn't always act with integrity. We had a 3-month reservation via Airbnb in which electricity was included in the rental price. With more than a month left (after we'd already paid in full), the owner sold the condo. It was included in the sale contract with the new owner that the current tenants (us) would be able to finish our reservation. The new owner recieved the correct amount of prorated rent money from the previous owners. However, the new owner then decided he wanted to charge us more and hired Blue Playa Rentals to basically shake us down. They gave us an ultimatum to either accept a new rental agreement in which we'd have to pay additional for electricity, or we had to be out 2 days later. It's would just be a couple hundred dollars, but it's the principle. It's not fair to change the rental agreement at that point. We're now in a very stressful situation because there are very few rentals available during spring break with only 2 days notice. Liliana seems to understand that what she's doing is not right, because she said things like "I'm only the property manager so I have to follow the owners instructions." So, if you're looking for someone who will follow orders to break an existing contract and kick out already-paid-in-full renters with 2 days notice despite knowing it's wrong, Liliana at Blue Playa Rentals is the property manager for you ?

Liliana and the Blue Playa rental Group were recommended by her past customers and they did not disappoint. Three past customers all directed me to them. To quote Meghan one of her past customers "she's been great!" They are very organized and professional. They are upfront and very accommodating even when dealing with difficult people. I really appreciate the time and patience they took with us. The previous customers were spot on, great team at Blue Playa Rentals! Thank you all for all your patience and help during the process.
