Wonderful jungle home

Stayed here for over a week. At first, this looks like a great place to chill in the middle of the jungle. Then you slowly uncover all the little issues. When we arrived, the house had dirt splatters all over its external walls next to the pool. Not a good look but ok, no big deal. We then quickly realized we needed to be careful when walking outside — you're in the middle of the jungle with all the jungle friends. One morning a giant tarantula visited the backyard, another day we found a scorpio by the entrance. Giant locusts, spiders, what looks like a psychedelic frog sitting on the wall, and so on. The next big issue was the internet — since you're so far from the town, there's no landline. The satellite connection they have in the house is incredibly bad. It would either be super slow or disappear entirely. Funny enough, there's a TV w. Netflix in the house but we could never really watch it due to how slow the internet was. Then there're power issues — the power goes off once in a while, so unless you're using a power supply unit, you'll experience frequent outages. This is probably also why internet would disappear occasionally. Thankfully, they have a few of those power blocks in the house but we were never informed about them or the power situation. Poor water pressure and finicky gas stove top also added up to the negative experience. Finally, the road to the house came as another "pleasant" surprise. Actually, there's no read at all. The dirt road is so bad, it takes 5-7 minutes of slow drive through the giant dirt holes just to get to and from the house and onto the main road. Once on the main road, it'll take you at least 15 minutes to get to the town. Keep that in mind in case you don't have a car or are planning to commute back and forth often. Driving to/from the house will add up almost an hour to your day. In summary, it's not a bad place per se, but beware of the "unique" experience if you're into that kind of thing. Note to owners — be transparent about all these things upfront.
