★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a truly local experience with safety AND security...look no further. First and foremost Joni is an American from Texas. I was worried at first however she is real and trust worthy. The house is beautiful and the back courtyard is very nice however, the owner's home shares the same back courtyard...I don't know how much interaction there would be normally, as she was away while we were there. The house is 2 blocks from Sam's Club with several wonderful restaurants within walking distance (Maple Bakery has the best chocolate croissants ever!!). I sincerely suggest rain boots, when it rains the streets are at least 12-14 inches of water for hours! With regards to owner being away from property, she asked her friend to meet us at the house, review the particulars and even brought us dinner from a local baked chicken cart (extremely thoughtful and delicious). We truly cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience has been and are looking forward to visiting again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Sunshine. It is beautifully decorated and the beds and linens are comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The first day we didn’t have a car and the walk into town was fine. Colin has a informational book that was super helpful. We cannot wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casa Sunshine is the perfect place for those wanting to be away from the tourist zone of Cozumel. The house itself is decorated so well that it lends itself to a sense of peace and feeling right at home. The front and back yards are immaculate. The pool with waterfall is the best place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and an afternoon cocktail. The house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Colin is very professional and the communication was so easy. He provided so much information about local places to eat, rental cars, taxis, entertainment, etc. We will definitely be returning for another visit to Casa Sunshine in the near future!
