★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un excelente lugar para ir a ver eclosionar los huevos de tortugas, el sitio es grande y los guias te tratan bien, ademas el precio de entrada no cuesta mucho, lo recomiendo es bueno para los niños.
It is an excellent place to go see the turtle eggs hatch, the place is large and the guides treat you well, also the entrance fee does not cost much, I recommend it is good for children.

Hacen participativa a la ciudadanía e invitan a crear nuevos programas. El personal muy comprometido y en sintonía con la misión de recuperar el paraíso perdido.
They really care about the environment. They have protection programs for corals, jungles, cenotes, underground rivers and more. They make the citizens participate and invite new programs. The staff is very committed and in tune with the mission of recovering the lost paradise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came upon a turtle release where they allow you to watch the babies going to sea. The staff said 'locals only' and would not allow us white folks to watch. Weird experience. They wanted cash on the spot to watch. Boo Cozumel Eco Dept, boooo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arranged for a group turtle rescue. Received email confirmation on date and time. Arrived early with my group of 12, waited an hour . NO ONE SHOWED UP. Emailed and never replied after that. What a disappointing experience for my entire group.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went looking for volunteer opportunities for upcoming turtle nesting. Limited English spoken, but very helpful and eventually figured everything out. Left a donation that was gratefully accepted. Nice eco park surrounding office. Easy parking. Worth a quick visit, they work hard in righteous cause with limited budget.
