Excelent place with great food

We really enjoyed our short stay at the lovely Ecohabitat before making our way to Calakmul the next morning. It is surrounded by garden in the backyard and the room was simple yet perfectly clean with good internet, nice shower and comfortable bed(s). The best part for us were the the covered terrace in front of the room which allowed us to sit "outside" but protected from mosquitos, etc., the goats which were roaming around and the highlight: amazing breakfast (eggs from the owners chickens of your choice, fruit platter, bread with cream cheese, marmelade and tea/coffee) served even at 6 AM directly to our terrace to get an early start when visiting Calakmul. We were also welcomed warmly and received some recommendations for dinner. Muchas gracias!

Incredibly friendly hosts, and nice complementary breakfast. Make sure though to get the back cabin though. The habitat is next to a busy roads so if you get a front cabin you’ll hear trucks pass by all night

Super friendly and helpfull staff. You get a very nice breakfast, very tasty. Beautiful place to spot birds. Clean and comfertable place to sleep.
