Muy malo. Aceite quemado para los platos principales. Mala atención. A las 22 ya no expiden más platos cuando el ultimo turno es a las 21.30. Pésima experiencia

La mejor cena que tuvimos en el hotel. Nuestro mozo nos atendió super bien, fue muy amable! La comida estuvo riquísima. Hay biffet de ensaldas y guarniciones y la carne se pide a la carta. Pedimos empanadas, que estaban riquísimas, choripan y provoleta, estos dos maso. Entraña y bife de chorizo riquisimos, super tiernos. Los postres muy bien también.

Ik wil niet negatief zijn maar dit is echt niet goed. Vlees (entrecote) doorgebakken, te zout en super taai. Runder ribs smaakten naar een vieze grill, bittere aangebakken smaak, doorgebakken en hard. Verder rommelige sfeer. Jammer.

Our waitress Maday was excellent and Mirna made sure we were satisfied with the service and food.

Delicious steakhouse with a lot of different delicious options to choose from. Right next to Fogo De Janeiro (the Brazilian restaurant) this steakhouse sits. So if you like, you can eat at both locations while you are here which is wonderful. Make sure to make reservations if you want to eat at a specific time. This restaurant has amazing food quality and taste!

Oct. 26, 2021 - One of several restaurants located within the Sandos Resort at Playa del Carmen (Mexico). At 6 pm the doors opened, and our party of 5 were promptly seated in a large dining area. Impressed with the Covid safety measures. . . . the customer groups were spaced apart every-other table , employees masked up! The menu is on line! Very attentive and helpful with our 1 year old, our server was excellent! (I apologize for not remembering his name.) He recalled each drink ordered, delivered each drink to the respective customer without a mistake! Very impressive! Seems this El Gaucho restaurant offers a streamlined menu with a stacked Salad & Dessert bar included in dinner. This menu offers 4 appetizers choices, ( Sausage was good) , 2 choices of soup ( Beef & veggie soup was good), several selections of steak, ( Ribeye was also good) ! As to the experience & quality . . . Depends on the customer ! I would offer that the owners wish to please as many folks as is possible, which is a difficult task: 1. A young couple seeking romance ? 2. Family with baby ? & ? 3. Family with older children ? 4. Mixed family old & younger members ? 5. Older couple celebrating occasion ? 6. Couple seeking High end food, quiet evening, served each course , fine liquors, etc. ? We enjoyed our dinner, until our little guy of 1.5 years melted down at the end . But our steak was good! Raising a family is rewarding, with a few bumps in the road. . . You apologize , and tip for the mess around the baby chair!

We have been coming to Sandos Playacar for a number of years and have found El Gaucho to be a consistent place for breakfast and dinner. The dinner menu was reduced a bit this year but still very good. One of the things that has made El Gaucho so good over the years is the Manager of the Dining Room (breakfast), Mirna. She is very friendly and hard working and dives right in to do whatever is needed to help. Mirna always goes out of her way to make us feel welcome. She also manages the dining area for the pool buffet close to the beach and is equally as hard working and charismatic. People like Mirna are why we return to Sandos. We hope that Sandos recognizes how valuable Mirna is to this resort. Haring family, Pennsylvania, USA

we had breakfast each morning here and had a fantastic time! the food was great and the front staff are amazing. Our favorite was Mirna! she loved our little girl and would play qand give her so much attention.
