C	Cian O'Sullivan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a car directly with Mex Rent a Car on their website. Arrived. Unfriendly man took his time in checking for my reservation. After a few minutes he tells me he has no cars for me in the size I booked and the only ones available were the premium cars for an extra price of course. Asked why would they take a booking on their own site if they had no cars. Kindly declined his offer to upgrade to an expensive car. Went across to Europcar and got the same car for slightly less. Poor customer service from Mex Rent a Car. Will probably not use them again.
P	Pierre Biais on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you take the insurance from Expedia you have to pay a deposit of 11000 USD which is crazy so of course you have no choice but to take their insurance and end up paying a lot more... The car is small and not fuel efficient, almost a full tank to drive 168km... Never ever with them!

They took 200 dollar deposit from my credit card and the car itself cost 34 USD to rent for one day which included the full insurance. Our car was in good condition and we didn’t have any problems with it. Once we returned the car, the 200 dollar deposit was put back on my card. Overall very good experience and would hire a car again! These guys also spoke perfect english! -Girls from Finland

Offering low prices online and when you arrive there is either no availability or they suggest that the insurance that you booked through Expedia does not cover and charge you extreme amounts out of the blue. There are better rentals nearby
R	Rainier R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT USE MEXRENT. The staff leave most of the rental agreement blank and try the "no it's always this way with rental agreements" BS. Also, I contacted them to extend my rental for 1 day and they wouldnt answer or reply. When I turned in the car, they charged me almost triple our agreed-upon daily rate for the extra day. I've reached out to the corp office twice to resolve this issue and no reply. No paperwork which they provided to me stated anywhere that I'd be charge triple for an extra day.
E	Eric Support Adventure on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ INSURANCE SCAM! Got me to book with a US$70 per week rental price. Then when you get there they want to force you to take their insurance for $400. I have insurance on my Amex card and they said they can't honor it and there's no option but to buy theirs. The lady's miserable demeanor leads you to believe that she hates her job of scamming people like this all day every day. I walked out and went somewhere else which did not employ this predatory practice.
A	Alexander Zabradi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Insurance scam. Stay away from this rental place. My price went from $70 Canadian for 4 days to $208 USD. They are the worst! And make sure to bring a printed copy of insurance coverage through your credit card company. Good luck!
A	Ann T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT RENT. This place is a scam. They make you pay for their “basic” insurance which is 52 dollars a day even though we already got an insurance from priceline. Still says they don’t accept that as an insurance. It’s more than renting the car itself. The entire block of car rentals there are a bunch of scams. They have the same insurance policy of $52 and also just to drop a car at a different location, they say we have to pay $150. You don’t even have an option to choose whether you want an insurance or not.
