Hotelito Azul Tulum - 77780 Tulum

This is a beautiful hotel on a nice area of the beach- not too busy but still centrally located. Tulum in general is very expensive. We walked around to check out different properties and we thought ours was the best kept in the area for the price point. Staff were very good. Rooms were clean. We stayed three days. Food at the restaurants were great. We won't be back to tulum as it is just wildly expensive but we have no complaints with our accommodations.

ABSOLUTE EXTORTION! I write this review to warn prospective guests from being defrauded by the unethical and rude staff at this hotel. Do not trust the hotels misleading advertising on their website, this is not an "entire villa", or a "triple room", it has no "balcony" as you can see and no "private entrance" like they have described. As you can see the toilet seat was broken, which hurt me and my partner. There was also loud construction happening from the early morning. The hotel refused to give us a refund for the remaining nights when we raised these issues with them, and even called security to kick us out of the hotel. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE. All the bad reviews say it all - this hotel is not luxurious at all, it is filthy and smelly. Do yourself a favor and read all the bad reviews. I am sure the positive reviews are most likely fake, just like their hotel advertisements. Horrendous all around. I want to vomit just thinking about the hotel and the staff.

Had an amazing stay at Hotelito Azul! Staff is extremely accommodating (Alex, George, the concierge man and many others) and the ocean front suite is beautiful…so nice to be able to walk right out to the ocean. Food and drinks are so delicious, and the view from the roof top is so nice! Also in a great location! Highly recommend :)

This is a decent resort but way overpriced for what you get. We paid about $1000 USD/night for the garden villa. On checkout they tried to charge us for restaurant charges that were not ours, but corrected it. The staff was overall attentive and friendly. The cabana where we stayed was nice. Good water pressure. Nice beachfront.

We were very well served and had an amazing time at this place! The venue is breathtakingly beautiful, clean, and pleasant. The food is fantastic, tasteful and fresh. I had the pizza and a salad. Liz was super polite and helpful! I will definitely come back! I loved this place

Do not stay here! My partner and I have had the worst experience. It could not even count as a 1 star hotel. No windows, no TV, very dark. The toilet seat is not attached and my partner and I both hurt ourselves on the toilet as it pinched us. The advertising claims it is a villa and has a balcony - it doesn’t have any of these. The hotel advertisements is misleading. This place will ruin your holiday.

♥️We love your hotel. We stayed at this hotel one year ago. ? But one thing - construction work is underway, check with the hotel ( manager) which rooms will be best for you. ♥️Great location and great service. And also coffee in the morning under the doors is a great idea. Breakfast at Olivia Garden are excellent. ??Thanks to the owner of the hotel who promptly resolved our situation with the rooms.

My first time visiting Tulum- this was the greatest hotel. Super clean, attentive staff, and amazing beach. My boyfriend and I had the most relaxing stay and the concierge was in consistent contact with me answering questions whenever I needed. I rarely ever leave hotel reviews but this blew away my expectations. The cafe is amazing, and although Tulum was beyond overpriced, you get what you pay for at this hotel!
