Good stay in tulum. Only the location is a bit complicated. It takes with the bikes round about 15min to the beach. Furthermore there are no bikes at the hotel. You have to rent them in the city. The bungalow was clean at have a big sice.

For me it was amazing place to stay in, clean, quite, very welcoming and not costly. It is not just a room it's whole apartment, with bed room, shower, big kitchen with everything thing you need in it, dinning room, guest room, nice balcony and many more. Makes me feel like I'm home. Kiara was super nice and helpful, told us about all the good places we should visit, from recommended beaches till the best restorants the bar in the center of Tulum, and all her recommendations was on point. The hotel look like a little bit far from the center but in the hotel you have a bicycle service for free, every day me and my girl toke them and take out self to where ever we want. 5-7 min to every place in the center, 20-25 min to the amazing beaches. For bottom line I enjoyed from the hotel very much and from the people working there. 5⭐ We will miss the place and you guys (Kiara & Mattia), Thanks for everything, Shahar & Roman.

Maya Pax was exactly as advertised. The manager Mattia very friendly and professional, and he speaks English. We had only one complaint we brought to him, and he resolved the matter for us immediately (which is why I wont post the problem specifically). The apartments all have their own balcony and hammock, and the location is quiet because its outside of town. Walking to the shopping area of town is a bit far (20 min) but there are pedal bikes available to use. The only downside of our stay was that the mattress was a bit firm for our taste. :)

Nice place e to stay. The owner is very friendly and helps to find everything around quickly and easily. The rooms offer plenty of space for a good price. Very comfortable. Only disadvantage is that the place is quite far from everything. With a car this is a perfect place e to stay.

Nice bungalow, clean. This complex is right on a main Tulum bypass road and is VERY noisy. It feels and sounds like you are on the sidewalk, which in effect you are as it's about 10 feet away with a grass fence separating your bungalow from the road. Picked it as a review said it was tranquil. It is anything but and a long walk to town centre. Also not the most reasonable rate in town. Managed to get about 3 gours sleep total.

The place is beautiful, staff really nice, helpful and friendly. We had a few annoying issues, some possibly due to the inexperience of the care takers. To their credit they fixed it. Make sure to specify non-smoking room, if that is what you prefer. Both a cat and two dogs roam the premise, very nice animals! The pool is not heated, in December it was too cold for swimming.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were put in a very spacious bungalow. Although there was lots of room, there was no dresser, closet or storage of any kind. There was just a bed, a couch and a few small shelves. Because of this our luggage either had to stay in the bag or ended up on the couch. The room has a small air-conditioning unit so temperature wasn't an issue but the bungalow had no soundproofing so street noise outside the hotel was a bit of an issue. Walking or biking to the hotel is also difficult at night as it is down a dirt road just outside of Tulum with no street lights. All in all, we are happy with our stay. Especially for the price we paid.

Do yourself a favour and please stay away. We had to file a legal claim against them as the room we were given was not what we booked. It was over NYE so they claimed the hotel was full! Despite we pre-booked a specific room. Staff cant speak English at all and are extremely rude. We were put in Bungalow number 2 that was right next to the main road. Needless to say - no sleep happened there. We walked out the next day and took them to court. The proceedings are still going on 2 years later.
