We had reservations to return our car today 02/20 at 5pm. This employee Eder Lopez started calling us at 7:05am waking us up because he said we need to return the car by 12 noon because somebody else has reserved the car at that time. I took a photo of the contract and sent it to him and despite that, he kept calling all day and harrassed us to return the car. We arrived at the office at 5pm to return the car and the offoce is locked and nobody was there to return the car. We spent 20mins calling all the numbers listed in the calling card, the office number and Eder’s phone number. Please save yourself from ruining your vacation and go to other car companies conveniently located in the airport.

if i could rate this business less than a star i would have. after making a reservation online i was then asked in person to deposit $800USD (excluding car insurance) in order to take the car. after asking why the deposit was so much, the employee stated “this is how we do things in PV”. i then asked if a refund could be possible and i have been informed a refund can be possible with a $50USD processing refund fee. everybody stay away from this business if possible. i rented another vehicle next door from Hertz for way cheaper, and their customer service is impeccable. stay away from here you guys!

I arrived for my appointment but the car was not available I came back an hour later and still no car. I will probably be charged a no show fee which I will dispute. I am sure they will just mark me as a no show. I suggest reserving in advance and printing out your reservation plus print out the fine print that shows the MXN 750,000 insurance is included in the base rate of the reservation as mentioned on the Economy website.

Came in with a reservation for a car for $430 USD. Guy added an "insurance fee" for $990 USD. This was a three week reservation for a cheap car. There is no way on the planet insurance costs $300/week. This place is a SCAM. DON'T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THESE GUYS.

Worst Company Ever! In any industry, I have never seen a worse company, my car rental from expedia was $300 and included liability insurance. Economy said the liability was not sufficient and want to charge $700 more for the liability. I refused to rent the car and so far expedia has not issued me a refund. This company should be shut down and the owners should be in jail. They are a fraud, a scam, and a poor excuse for human beings.

They had us rent a vehicle online for $389 dollars and then hit us with a 800 dollar insurance fee. Which is false advertisement. I found Eder Lopez and Hector Pelayo to agree that along side Expedia they agreed that it was false advertisement. They are a truly horrible company and do not waist your money

The reviews are all correct. We got a beat up SUV because the car we reserved wasn't available. The gas cap cover wouldn't latch, exterior damage all around, the transmission would clunk and at a stop the car would try and lurch forward so you had to make sure you were pressing the brakes hard. The main issue though was having to pay for additional coverage. I'm not sure if this was a scam or not but it would have been good to know before arriving in Mexico. Also the insurance was supposed to be for $168 and when I looked at my statement afterwards, I was charged over $190. I emailed them asking them to refund the difference and got no response. The last issue was getting picked up from the airport. We ended up taking a cab because we never saw any economy rental shuttles after waiting for a while. Once we got to the rental car place, Hector told us that their rental car shuttle is an unmarked white van on the opposite site of the parking lot away from the other shuttles. There's literally no way to find that shuttle unless you are fluent in Spanish and you can ask around.
