Beautiful ksrge apartment

We stayed at Mayaluum March 2013. Our two bedroom condo was clean. It had a washer/dryer, nice oven, stove and minimal cooking vessels. I asked the owner for a blender and she gladly lent me one. In fact, the owner would quickly respond to any need we had, such as more beach towels. It is a self catering unit, which means you provide paper products, soap, etc. The staff of Mayaluum was very pleasant. The wifi had some intermittent outages, but the owners once again fixed it. The wifi had amazing speeds. There is a nice pool and a bbq area with seating for 20. We had community cook outs which were very nice. Bring a hairdryer to help you start the charcoal. The local Sams had Kingsford which was much easier to start than the local charcoal. I only had to cross the street to get on my dive boat. There is a convient OXXO store next to the condo with eggs, milk, beer, soap, etc. 25 litres of water was $25 MX. The folks staying at Mayaluum were also most pleasant.

A fantastic place to stay long term. Secure and safe. Management is highly responsive to needs and maintenance issues. All units are furnished. The grounds are well kept and the pool is the perfect place to relax. Close enough to everything in Cozumel but far enough away to "get away". Kid friendly with a mix of residents and vacationers.

We stay here 6 months during winters. Love these spacious villas with beautifully kept gated grounds and an exceptionally clean pool. Humming birds and wild parrots are abundant. Just a stones throw to the sea with stunning ocean sunsets from the balcony. Cecelia is very accommodating providing whatever you might need. As divers it is convenient to be within walking distance to Papa Hogs a fabulous dive shop and restaurant with their 6 pax fast boats. Villas Mayaluum is approximately a 20 minute walk south of town or <5 taxi. There are several places to eat also within walking distance.

Calm complex, great value for money. Close to the beach and well furnished apartments.
